Backstage Update On LA Knight Plans For Recent SmackDown
LA Knight might not have appeared on SmackDown on Friday night but the star was still the talk of New York City after making an appearance for the live crowd.
LA Knight’s popularity has gone through the roof in recent months and he was very much the people’s choice to win Money In The Bank but Damian Priest had his name on the briefcase.
On SmackDown, fans in Madison Square Garden were treated to The Trial of Roman Reigns which opened the show and ran for over half an hour as The Bloodline’s engaging saga continued.
While The Bloodline segment was believed to have run long at the start of SmackDown causing several changes to the show in terms of timings, one thing that was not changed was LA Knight’s appearance in Madison Square Garden.
Knight appeared in a dark segment after the show, taking out Hit Row after they took shots at New York City. Now Fightful Select has reported that Knight’s appearance at the event not appearing on TV had nothing to do with timing issues and it was always planned to be shown on digital platforms.
That approach seemed to work with the clip being watched on YouTube alone 1 million times in two days.
