Two Long-Time WWE Employees Leave Company
WWE continues to make changes.
In recent months several WWE office employees have left the company, including many who have been with the sports entertainment giant for decades.
On September 3rd, it was reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that two more members of staff were heading to the exit.
Johnson noted that Lead Production Designer Jason Robinson had either left the company or would be finishing up after 23 years. Robinson had been involved in creating almost every modern TV and event set and his impending departure was said to have come as a shock to those backstage. However, Robinson was seen as a Kevin Dunn guy — Dunn left WWE in late 2023.
The report added that the Director of Production Travel Michelle Carlucci had also been fired after 36 years with the company.
News of Carlucci’s firing was initially reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update.
Michele Carlucci, who was the WWE Director of Production Travel, was let go on Friday.
She had been with the company since 1988 and had been at this specific job since 2019 after spending the prior 14 years as Director of the Freelance crew, Travel & Special projects.
Odyssey Jones Fired By WWE
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that WWE has fired Odyssey Jones after he was removed from the company roster page on September 2nd. News of the star’s firing comes after it was revealed he was facing allegations of domestic abuse.
Jones only started featuring on Raw regularly in August despite originally being called up to the main roster in 2023. Despite the allegations against him, at the time of his departure, no arrests had been made, nor any charges filed.
