Triple H Finally Spoils Cody Rhodes’ WWE Return Date
Triple H has revealed Cody Rhodes’ return date.
The WWE Chief Content Officer recently appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, wherein he discussed the promotion’s lucrative deal with ESPN, the upcoming PLE Wrestlepalooza, and much more.
Cody Rhodes has been missing in action since the August 8 episode of SmackDown.
During that episode’s taping, he paired with John Cena in the main event to face Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The match ended in a DQ after Paul hit Cena with a low blow.
Outside the ring, McIntyre hit Rhodes with the Undisputed WWE Championship before hitting a Claymore Kick that sent the champion crashing through the foot of the announcers’ table.
Since then, Cody Rhodes missed a couple of SmackDown tapings and the Clash in Paris PLE.
While he was written off TV as injured, the 40-year-old has been in Australia shooting for the upcoming Street Fighters movie, in which he plays Guile.
Triple H confirmed that The American Nightmare will return at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, although it is unknown in what capacity.

Will Cody Rhodes Confront Drew McIntyre At Wrestlepalooza?
While Drew McIntyre is not yet scheduled for a match or appearance at Wrestlepalooza yet, WWE has kept him involved in a feud with Randy Orton.
The two veterans might fight it out on the September 20 premium live event, with the bout potentially announced on the upcoming SmackDown episode or the next.
If Cody Rhodes is returning to Indianapolis, he currently has no other objective than to confront the Scottish Warrior. WWE might then set up a clash between the two at Crown Jewel in Perth.
Alternatively, he could make his presence felt during the match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, whom he last faced during the 2023 SummerSlam.
