Trick Williams’ WWE Fiancée Reacts To His Unexpected SmackDown Debut

Trick Williams has joined his fiancée on the WWE SmackDown brand.

The first WWE SmackDown episode of 2026 featured some returns, including Randy Orton and Sami Zayn, while Matt Cardona is officially a WWE superstar again without using the Zack Ryder name this time.

There were also NXT wrestlers who officially joined the main roster, including Jordynne Grace, who had a confrontation with Chelsea Green and WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill on the show.

Sami Zayn was in the ring for a promo, talking about how he was determined to be a WWE World Champion for the first time in 2026. Zayn admitted it was something he spoke about a lot last year, but this year he’s going to make that happen.

Unfortunately for Zayn, he was interrupted by SmackDown’s newest star, Trick Williams, who is now part of the blue brand after four years on NXT. The cocky Williams is a former 2-time NXT Champion and former TNA World Champion, who is somebody who is more than ready to be on the main roster.

The fans in Buffalo were very familiar with Trick as they chanted “Whoop That Trick” for the brash superstar wearing a white fur coat. Trick said that Nick Aldis called him and said they need him on SmackDown because they need some flavor and pizzazz. Trick said they needed someone tall, dark, and handsome.

Trick said that they needed somebody who could challenge for that championship, he looks like a champion, and he’s here to be the World Champion. Trick took a shot at Zayn for being in wrestlig for 20 years without being a World Champion.

Sami Zayn said that he has been watching him and Trick has all the tools, but Trick has yet to be humbled. Zayn said that Trick isn’t the first guy to say what he just said. Zayn said you’re not the first to look down on him. Zayn said he had no problem teaching Trick a lesson and teaching him a thing or two about what it means to be humbled.

Zayn shoved the microphone into Trick’s chest and left. Zayn’s music played as he walked away, and Trick stared at him.

Lash Legend Welcomes Trick Williams To WWE SmackDown

Reacting to Trick’s official WWE SmackDown debut, his fiancée Lash Legend, who joined the blue brand a few months ago, wrote on social media that her future husband is undeniably the future of WWE.

Trick and Lash have been a couple for a few years and were officially engaged in November, when Trick proposed to Lash at an American Thanksgiving party, surrounded by family.

Later on SmackDown, Trick complained to GM Nick Aldis about Sami Zayn disrespecting him. As Trick did that, Rey Fenix was talking to Aldis, so Fenix exchanged words with Trick. Aldis would go on to book Trick in his first SmackDown match next Friday, November 9th, when the blue brand heads to Berlin, Germany.
