TNA’s Joe Hendry Eyes Up Eurovision Glory

Joe Hendry WWE

Many TNA & NXT fans believe in Joe Hendry but now the star believes that he can conquer Europe – not in the wrestling ring but on the Eurovision stage.

Joe Hendry’s popularity has swelled to new heights in 2024 through his exploits in and out of the ring. The Scottish star took on the UK music charts with his “I Believe In Joe Hendry” theme song entering the chart at number 6 back in May.

Since then Joe Hendry has challenged for the NXT Championship and has been the focal point of WWE’s partnership with TNA in recent months. Fans are already predicting that Hendry could be one of the surprise entrants in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble but that remains to be seen.

But it seems Hendry already has big plans for 2025.

Joe Hendry Reveals Eurovision Plans

Taking to social media, Joe Hendry confirmed that he will be entering his “I Believe In Joe Hendry (Eurovision Remix)” song to be considered as the UK’s entry for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest:

It’s official. As I confirmed on BBC Radio Scotland About 4 months from now, we will submit: ‘I Believe In Joe Hendry (Eurovision Remix)’ In good time for the March deadline. No matter the outcome, this will be fun

The UK entrant will be picked in March 2025 with the Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Basel, Switzerland in May.

Joe Hendry faces a tough test to become TNA World Champion when he challenges Nic Nemeth at Bound For Glory for the title. However, that will be nothing compared to the size of the challenge facing him if he is to join Sandie Shaw, Lulu, Brotherhood of Man, Bucks Fizz, and Katrina & The Waves on the list of UK Eurovision winners.
