What The Undertaker Told Top WWE Star During Recent Meeting

The Undertaker

The Undertaker had some good things to say to one of the biggest names in WWE.

As one of the biggest names in WWE history from 1990 to 2020 when he retired, The Undertaker got to step into the ring with so many of the greatest superstars in the history of the company.

At some point, everybody has to stop even though they probably don’t want to stop. The Undertaker has said that he wasn’t ready to retire and he wanted to keep going, but he was in his mid-50s and he had a lot of injuries in his career.

If The Undertaker was competing still in 2024, there are still plenty of guys that he wrestled in the past that he could still face, but there are also a newer group of wrestlers who Taker never got to compete with.

While speaking on his Six Feet Under Podcast, The Undertaker singled out the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther as somebody he knows he could have drawn money with as a rival. It’s something that Taker told Gunther as well.

“I’d love to see him wrestle Undertaker, that’s who I would have loved to have seen him wrestle. I told him that…a few weeks [ago], when I saw him in Austin.

I was like, ‘Man, I would have drawn a lot of money with you.’ He was very gracious. He was like, ‘Thank you.’ He thanked me. I told him, ‘You’re my guy.’ He goes, ‘I hear you’ve said really nice things about me.’ I said, ‘Yeah, don’t screw it up,’ [laughs].”

The Undertaker Shared Special Moment Involving Gunther And His Son

Earlier this summer, The Undertaker told a story about Gunther speaking to Taker’s young son and how his son was fascinated by Gunther.

“There’s a little more storytelling going on…and GUNTHER is my guy…two years ago he had about a 10-minute conversation with my little boy. My little boy is fascinated by him. Colt is fascinated by him.”

“They had a conversation out of the clear blue and he sat there and just talked to him. That’s not why he’s my guy. He’s my guy because he knows how to work and tell a story. I’m real high on him.”

Gunther had an interesting evening at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta when he mocked Goldberg, who was sitting ringside at the show. Sami Zayn also showed up to attack Gunther with punches since they have a big World Heavyweight Title match on Raw in St. Louis. That Gunther interaction with Goldberg could lead to a match between them in what could end up being one of Goldberg’s final matches.
