The Rock To Attend Major UFC Event
The Rock is heading to UFC.
During UFC 316 on June 7, it was announced that Mark Kerr will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2025. The ceremony, which is set to be part of International Fight Week, is being held on June 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kerr began his MMA career in 1997, and he went on to become the Heavyweight Tournament winner at UFC 14 and 15.
The veteran will be inducted into the Pioneer Era wing of the Hall of Fame, which recognises fighters who turned professional before November 17, 2000, and have been retired for a year or longer.
Vitor Belfort, Robbie Lawler, Craig Piligian, and Amanda Nunes will be inducted alongside Kerr.
During the announcement, it was confirmed that The Rock will also be in attendance. The WWE legend is set to star in The Smashing Machine, which chronicles a particularly troubled portion of Kerr’s life and career. The film is set to be released on October 3.
