The Judgment Day Continues To Boost WWE NXT Ratings

The Judgment Day’s presence on NXT saw the WWE’s third brand put up impressive ratings yet again.

For the second straight week, The Judgment Day being on NXT provided a ratings boost to the show. The July 25th episode averaged 703,000 viewers on USA Network, according to Wrestlenomics.

That number is actually down 5.8% from last week’s 746,000 total viewers, but it’s the second-highest audience since June 20th. It’s also the first time that NXT’s average audience has been over 700,000 viewers in back-to-back weeks since September 2021, which is when the “NXT 2.0” relaunch happened.

There was a rise in the all-important 18-49 demo because NXT did a 0.23 rating this week and that’s slightly higher than the 0.21 from last week.

In comparison to 2022, NXT was up 17.2% in overall viewers and up a whopping 77% in the 18-49 key demo. Thanks to the Wrestling Observer for that information.

The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion, and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio started the July 25th episode of the show with a promo. They were interrupted by Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali, who will both challenge Mysterio for the NXT North American Title at The Great American Bash on Sunday.

Rhea Ripley also wrestled on the show and defeated Lyra Valkyria in a physical match. The Judgment Day’s “Mami” Ripley was impressed by Valkyria and wanted to see Lyra beat her rival Jacy Jayne with the lessons she learned from Ripley.

What’s Next for The Judgment Day in NXT?

Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day will be in one of the featured matches at The Great American Bash in Cedar Park, Texas. Dominik won the NXT North American Title from Wes Lee on July 18th. At the Bash, Lee and Mustafa will try to take the title from “Dirty” Dom in what should be an exciting triple threat match.
