Roman Reigns Not Advertised For Major WWE Event
Roman Reigns’ part-time schedule looks set to continue into 2024.
Since unifying the Universal and WWE Championships at WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns has been wrestling working an ever-decreasing schedule.
In 2023 this has seen the Tribal Chief wrestle just 11 times, with only four of those matches coming at house shows. Furthermore, Reigns hasn’t wrestled on television since December 2022.
Reigns’ reduced schedule means he’s also missed a number of Premium Live Events including Backlash, Payback, Fastlane, and Survivor Series, and this trend seemingly won’t be broken in 2024.
Roman Reigns currently isn’t advertised for the Bash In Berlin on August 31st, and he also isn’t advertised for Backlash in France on May 4th. While this could change, at present Reigns is missing from a list that includes Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and more.
Who Is Roman Reigns Facing At The Royal Rumble?
The Tribal Chief could be in line for a match with a recent SmackDown signing. Randy Orton returned to WWE at Survivor Series, before heading to Raw and SmackDown.
After signing his new deal with the blue brand, Orton sent a message to Reigns via Paul Heyman. Although it’s not been confirmed, it’s been reported that Roman Reigns could face Orton and the Royal Rumble. The pair have an extensive history, and it was an attack from The Bloodline that put Orton on the shelf in storyline back in My 2022.
