Matt Riddle has hinted at his future.

Riddle posted an update following the announcement that he had departed WWE. The former United States Champion uploaded a new logo to his social media with the caption “coming soon.”

It is unknown if the new project will be related to wrestling, MMA or a new side project. As Riddle was a main roster talent it is assumed that he is subject to the standard 90-day no-compete clause following the release. As Riddle announced his departure on September 22nd, the first day that he could make an appearance for a new promotion would be December 21st.

Matt Riddle Described As A “Liability”

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently commented on Riddle hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. Booker T would state that The Original Bro’s behaviour was only going to be tolerated for so long and that he had become a liability in the company, giving WWE no choice but to release him from his contract.

Riddle was not seen on TV for multiple weeks before being informed that his services would be no longer required. Upon arriving back from the Superstar Spectacle event in India, the former Tag Team Champion alleged that he was sexually assaulted at JFK airport by a member of the enforcement staff in a social media post that was later deleted. Following Riddle’s departure from the company, a report would state that he had “burned through too many chances.”
