Liv Morgan Breaks Silence After Betraying WWE Teammate At Royal Rumble

Liv Morgan had an interesting night at WWE Royal Rumble 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, tonight as she made history at the event, as she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

After being the runner-up during both the 2023 and 2024 editions of the event, she managed to go one step further tonight as she eliminated Tiffany Starton last to win the match.

However, she made another interesting elimination during the match as she betrayed her Judgment Day teammate, Raquel Rodriguez, on the way to her victory.

Liv Morgan makes first comments after WWE Royal Rumble win

She appeared on the WWE post-show after the Royal Rumble event came to an end. The former Women’s World Champion was ecstatic after her win when she was asked about her decision to throw Raquel out of the ring.

Morgan stated that Raquel isn’t a selfish person and will be happy for Liv, despite her actions in the ring tonight, considering she already has a match for the Women’s World Championship at RAW next week.

So I know Raquel Rodriguez better than anyone else on this planet, and if I know Raquel, she is not a selfish human being. She is the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, and now I have an opportunity to win a championship as well. I’m sure she’s so happy for me because a win for one in The Judgment Day is a win for all,” Liv said.

Liv Morgan now has the option of choosing the champion of her choosing, and if Raquel beats Stephanie Vaquer on Monday night, we could potentially see Liv and Raquel fight it out at WrestleMania 42.
