Kevin Nash Reveals WWE Hall of Famer Refused To Join The NWO
Kevin Nash has discussed the WWE Hall of Famer who turned down a spot in the famed NWO group during their time in WCW.
The NWO is one of the most popular and widely recognised groups in wrestling history, beginning life in 1996 when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were joined by the turncoat Hulk Hogan, declaring war on WCW. The faction soon added Ted DiBiase as its money man and The Giant before their version of Sting and Sean Waltman also donned the black and white.
Soon the group had ballooned as seemingly every week another WCW star was turning their back on the company to join the villainous NWO.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast – courtesy of AdFreeShows.com – Nash revealed the quick rebuttal from Booker T when he was asked about joining the legendary group:
“I remember when we asked Booker T to join the NWO, he said ‘F**k no, man. You guys work too much.'”
The black and white of the New World Order more often than not got their man in the end and it proved to be the case for Booker T when he joined the group for an ill-fated spell when they were part of WWE in 2002.
