Is TNA Invading WWE NXT On Tuesday? Spoilers Ahead
Things look grim for WWE’s NXT brand come Tuesday.
Last week’s NXT Homecoming at the Full Sail University in Florida saw the past wrestlers of the brand compete against the current talent to a massive fanfare.
But the Grayson Waller Effect segment is what everyone was talking about when the show went off air.
The segment included NXT Champion Oba Femi and challenger Ricky Saints as the guests.
As the two traded verbal jibes, TNA Champion Trick Williams came out staking his claim for the NXT Championship.
Waller proposed a “Winner Take All” match between the two, with Saints challenging the winner for the NXT title at No Mercy.
The segment seemingly caused a furor in TNA, with several wrestlers expressing their displeasure on social media.
A recent report by PWInsider Elite hinted at an impending invasion by TNA wrestlers, a kayfabe angle that has been long-rumored, to take effect this Tuesday.
The September 24 episode of WWE NXT comes from Orlando, Florida.
What Matches Are Lined Up For WWE NXT?
Oba Femi and Trick Williams will headline WWE NXT on September 24. The winner of the match will face Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy on September 27.
Also on the show, Miles Borne and Lexis King will face off in a Lights Out match. Of late, King has been hell-bent on proving Borne’s hearing disability as a sham.
Lainey Reid will go up against Candice LeRae to determine the #1 contender for Sol Ruca’s WWE Speed Championship. The winner will face Ruca at No Mercy.
Additionally, NASCAR drivers Sam Mayer and Cole Custer are expected to make an appearance.
