Myles Borne Speaks Candidly About Disability On WWE NXT

Myles Borne

For the first time, Myles Borne has addressed his disability head-on in WWE as he gets set for the biggest match of his career at Battleground.

The May 6th edition of NXT saw a huge 25-man battle royal take place with the winner claiming an NXT Championship match at Battleground against Oba Femi.

Despite the match being littered with big names such as Trick Williams and Ethan Page, as well as a former WWE star returning to the company under a new name, ultimately, it was not a match for the favourites. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Myles Osborne shocked everyone as he picked up the win.

Following his big win, Borne took to social media, where he said his title match was for all the kids who are different:

May 25th, I’m going to put it all on the line. This is for all the kids who are different. For those who face challenges or have a disability that they think limits them. Nothing limits us. If I can do it, you can too. Let’s ride.

Myles Borne Discusses His Deafness On NXT TV

Now, on the May 13th edition of NXT, Myles Borne has addressed his disability head-on as he told everyone watching:

We’ve been dancing around this whole thing for a while now, but I have a disability. I’m partially deaf. It affects my speech. It affects the way I talk…

I don’t wanna just be known as the deaf kid. I wanna be judged by my ability, not my disability. And that’s what everyone with a disability wants to be judged by.
