Update On How Long Brock Lesnar Will Be Gone From WWE

Brock Lesnar

A new report has given an indication of how long Brock Lesnar will be off WWE TV following SummerSlam.

Brock Lesnar sought to settle the score with Cody Rhodes once and for all at SummerSlam after two previous big bouts between the stars throughout 2023. In the end, however, it was Rhodes that walked away with the big win after he dropped Lesnar with three Cross Rhodes.

After the match in an unplanned moment, Brock Lesnar removed his gloves and embraced Rhodes in an uncharacteristic show of respect before raising The American Nightmare’s hand. This led many to believe that Lesnar will be going on hiatus from the company but a report made sure to note that this was not his goodbye from WWE.

How long will Brock Lesnar be gone from WWE?

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Lesnar was originally advertised for a show later in the year but that is no longer the case and it might not be until WrestleMania season that WWE fans see him again:

“So Brock was originally advertised for one of the pay-per-views later this year, but he’s not going to be on it. He’s going to be gone for a while, no time soon as far as the next 4 months or something like that, he’s not going to be on anything at that point. I mean, he will be back for Mania season, he is coming back. So that’s the situation with him.”

Brock Lesnar has been a cornerstone of WWE’s shows in Saudi Arabia in recent years and the next one of those will take place on November 4th but this report seems to indicate that The Beast Incarnate will not be making another trip to the Middle East in 2023.

While not an in-ring appearance, Lesnar would appear after SummerSlam in a very unlikely location.
