Eyewitness Says Blood Spilled During CM Punk Fight At AEW All In

CM Punk and Jack Perry’s fight at AEW All In has had more light shone on what exactly happened by an eyewitness to the whole sorry mess.

CM Punk and Jack Perry were involved in a fight at All In which led to CM Punk being fired by AEW. This was not Punk’s first backstage altercation in the company, having been involved in a spat with The Elite at All Out in 2022.

Speaking on the Jim and Sam Show, DJ Whoo Kid – who was backstage at the show to accompany Swerve Strickland to the ring – explained his eyewitness account of what happened between CM Punk and Jack Perry in Wembley Stadium:

You already know what happened in the back. It was straight brawl city. I’m not gonna talk about that. Blood and killing and death [laughs]. You might as well say it. I was right there. We were next. They put us to be ready to go.

Kid continued and suggested that CM Punk might not have wanted to go out for his match with Samoa Joe on the show, which turned out to be Punk’s last in AEW:

It was crazy. It’s ongoing they told me, this has been an ongoing…that was the last straw. It was the biggest moment for AEW and I guess he was trying to sabotage that moment. He wasn’t trying to go out there. I’m in the middle. I’m the fly on the wall. It was very intense. I always thought it was fake and all this shit. It’s more real. It was wrestling back there. A DDT, everything. I’m exaggerating.

Samoa Joe Screamed At CM Punk

DJ Whoo Kid then noted that there was yelling but it did not come from Punk but might well have come from his opponent on the night:

There was a yelling moment where he was like ‘f*ck this sh*t, this is our moment, everybody get the f*ck out there and do your sh*t.’ I was like, I don’t wrestle, but I was about to go out there. It was very intense. I will always respect wrestling after I saw that.

The big guy. The Hawaiian-looking [dude]. [He] was the guy going ham and I was like, ‘Oh sh*t.’ Then blood was everywhere from the fight before that. They came in and they were bleeding. I was like, ‘what is going on around here?’ This was intense.

Since All In, Jack Perry was suspended indefinitely by AEW and has not returned despite the belief that his suspension is now over. Samoa Joe won the AEW World Championship from MJF at Worlds End and hell froze over when CM Punk made his shock return to WWE at Survivor Series.
