Ex-WWE Star Open To Return For More “Fair Play” In Contract
Alexander Wolfe would consider a possible WWE return in the future if the offer is right.
The former WWE Superstar has made appearances for independent promotions across Europe following his release in 2021. With NXT Europe still reportedly a future project for the company, there is a possibility that Wolfe could be one of many stars to make their return to the company following the infamous “budget cuts” release.
During an interview with Developmentally Speaking, Wolfe stated that he would be interested in a return but would want different terms in the agreement:
“Sure, I would be interested, of course. I always learn from my mistakes and also learn from my experience and if I would sign again with WWE or whatever the company, this time I probably have a better look at that contract. I would love to get more a fair play in the contract situation. There’s a lot of details in there and you have to be wary of what to do and what to sign.”
Wolfe continued, stating that money would not be the only motivator and that a return to a major promotion is very possible:
“Of course, there is this nice, big number that you make a year, but also comes with other stuff, and you have to be aware of that. Of course, it’s your employer and you’re the employee, but in a lot of things, I believe it should be equal. So that’s one of the things I want to get more into it instead of just signing because of money. Yeah, I would be totally interested in working for WWE again or a big company in general.”
Alexander Wolfe’s Time In WWE
Notably being a part of 2 factions, Wolfe would debut in NXT alongside Eric Young, Killian Dain and Nikki Cross as part of the group SAnitY, capturing the Tag Team Championships once with Young before the faction was called up to the main roster without Cross.
Following SAnitY disbanding, Wolfe joined the NXT UK brand and aligned himself with Imperium. The alliance would last until 2021 when Wolfe was kicked out of the group by leader Walter [now Gunther] and was released shortly afterwards.
