Drew McIntyre Hilariously Mocks CM Punk & Mindy’s Bakery (VIDEO)
Drew McIntyre aka “DM Hunk” is at it again in his latest video poking fun at his WWE rival CM Punk.
When CM Punk won the AEW World Championship at the 2022 All Out pay-per-view in Chicago, he famously went on multiple rants complaining about several people in the company. It also led to a locker room fight with The Elite’s Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
During the press conference, Punk famously ate muffins from a place called Mindy’s Bakery in Chicago, which brought a lot of attention to the business because of how many people saw Punk’s rant at the press conference.
The March 25th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw is in Punk’s hometown of Chicago and he’s advertised to be there. That also means that Punk could have a confrontation with Drew McIntyre, who loves to taunt CM Punk with move names or even videos where he plays Justin Timberlake songs to mock Punk for crying.
At the 2024 Royal Rumble, CM Punk suffered a torn triceps injury when McIntyre hit him with a Future Shock DDT. The injury didn’t happen because of McIntyre doing the move wrong. It was just one of those things that sort of happened. On the Raw following the Rumble, McIntyre unleashed his heel ways saying he prayed for Punk to get hurt and Drew also attacked Punk.
Since they were in Chicago and since Punk would be there, McIntyre decided to remind fans of Mindy’s Bakery in Drew’s latest social media video.
“We’re in Chicago. You know what? I’ve been coming here for about 16 years, I’ve never actually seen any landmarks, and today I want to fix that, because today’s a very special day. Today I’m very much at one with Chicago, it feels like my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one.”
“As I was saying, this was the first place I wanted to check out. I’ve heard so much about it, I think this is the right spot. There it is! Let’s get a shot so you know where I’m at. Mindy’s Bakery. You’ve heard about it just as much as I have, I’m excited for them to fuel me for…. oh wait. You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
Drew McIntyre Blasts Mindy’s Bakery For Being Closed
As the video continued, Drew McIntyre found out that Mindy’s Bakery was actually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
“I just drove all the way here, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, because why wouldn’t your business be closed on a Monday and Tuesday? Alright, well, probably tastes like crap anyway. To be honest, I don’t need to be eating that crap. I’ll get something else to fuel myself for tonight. Guess I’ll just head to the Allstate Arena, and I’ll see all you lovely people there.”
At WrestleMania 40, Drew McIntyre will challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title in a match that will take place on Sunday, April 7th.
