Drew McIntyre Crosses The Line Again With Disgusting Act Towards Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre continues to antagonize Cody Rhodes, even on social media.

Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against former 3-time WWE World Champion Drew McIntyre on the January 9th edition of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany, in a 3 Stages Of Hell match.

On WWE SmackDown in Buffalo, Drew announced what the three stages of hell will be. For the third stage, the match would have to be tied 1-1 to proceed.

  • Stage 1: Regular match. Some might say that is not much of a “stage of hell,” but it’s what McIntyre wants.
  • Stage 2: Falls Count Anywhere
  • Stage 3: Steel Cage Match

While Rhodes was in the ring, McIntyre made his announcement from the parking lot area while standing in front of Cody Rhodes’ “American Nightmare” bus.

McIntyre claimed he went onto Rhodes’ bus and saw some sentimental items on it. McIntyre held a picture of Rhodes with his WWE Hall of Famer father, Dusty Rhodes, who passed away about a decade ago. McIntyre said that if Dusty were here, he’d be ashamed. McIntyre kept on saying Dusty was “down there,” referencing hell, and said he hopes Dusty has a coat down there because it’s about to get chilly. Drew smashed the photo on the ground and stepped on it.

An infuriated Rhodes ran backstage to try to get his hands on McIntyre, but he was also being stopped by WWE personnel because if Rhodes touched McIntyre, per the match stipulation, then Rhodes would be stripped of the WWE Title immediately.

Drew McIntyre Goes Too Far On SmackDown And On Social Media

As the show continued, Drew McIntyre was in the ring with a trash can and the picture of Cody with Dusty. Drew called for Cody to come back to the ring, so Cody ran out to the ring.

While Cody nearly got to the ring, security guys held him back. Drew lit the picture of Cody and Dusty on fire and tossed it into a trash can in the ring. The fans were booing and screaming as Cody tried to go into the ring, but he was held back. The fans chanted “A**hole” at Drew as the picture was lit up in flames and Drew put it in the trash can.

McIntyre leaned against the ropes and dared Cody to hit him, but about a dozen guys were holding Cody back. McIntyre was laughing in the ring as the show went to a break.

On social media, McIntyre posted two photos of himself standing outside of Rhodes’ bus while suggesting that he was urinating on the bus.

Three matches have been announced for WWE SmackDown in Berlin on January 9th.
