Current WWE Champion Would Be Happy To End John Cena’s Career

John Cena WWE Last Time

John Cena has 4 appearances left on his WWE retirement tour.

At Crown Jewel on Saturday, the 17-time World Champion put on a spectacle along with his opponent, AJ Styles, to deliver a near-perfect match.

Cena, coming into the match on the back of a humiliating defeat to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza, needed the win to carry the momentum for his remaining appearances.

His next appearance will be on November 10, when WWE RAW comes to his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, fans have speculated about who his final rivals will be, and one name that pops up frequently is that of Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio also holds the Intercontinental Championship, the belt Cena has yet to capture in his career spanning 20+ years. Winning the IC title will make Cena a Grand Slam Champion.

Elsewhere, “Dirty” Dom has heard whispers about his name appearing on the list of Cena’s final opponents.

While speaking with Graps and Yaps recently, the 28-year-old said he would be more than happy to end the veteran wrestler’s career.

At the end of the day, I’m here. If John Cena wants some, he can come get some. He’s got four dates left, you said? If that old geezer wants me to put a final nail in his coffin, I’ll be more than happy to. That’s what I’m here for. I’m here to be and stay your dirty double champ. [H/T: Fightful]

WWE Star Accuses John Cena Of Taunting Him

A few days ago, John Cena teased a potential match between him and one of his long-standing rivals, The Miz.

Also at Crown Jewel, while paying a tribute to his past opponents, Cena used The Miz’s Soul-Crushing Finale on AJ Styles.

Having seen the match, the 45-year-old former world champion commented on an Instagram post by WWE, which featured Cena performing The Miz’s move.

Commenting on the post, he wrote:

Now he’s just taunting me.

Whether or not the two veterans step inside the ring for a last time remains to be seen.
