CM Punk Won’t Face AEW Issues In WWE Says Seth Rollins

CM Punk

Seth Rollins might not like CM Punk but he doesn’t think Punk will get to the point of fighting backstage in WWE as he did in AEW.

CM Punk was publicly fired by AEW for his part in a physical altercation with Jack Perry at All In. Bryan Danielson was part of the disciplinary committee that chose to fire Punk as it was far from his first offence.

In September 2022, CM Punk was involved in a backstage fight with The Elite following Punk’s explosive media scrum comments that took place after the All Out pay-per-view. Fences were never mended between the sides and this was a huge part of why Punk was the face of the Saturday night Collision show when he returned to the company in June 2023.

CM Punk shocked the world when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series and for those worried about Punk repeating his mistakes in the company, Seth Rollins says that won’t happen.

CM Punk Fighting Backstage In WWE Won’t Happen Says Seth Rollins

Speaking to Jimmy Traina on the SI Media Podcast, Seth Rollins said that he doesn’t things will ever escalate to the point of physically fighting in WWE as they did in AEW for Punk:

It’s never going to get to that point. If anything goes south the way it did anywhere else, it’s not ever going to get to that point. This locker room is…we’re a bunch of professionals, for the most part, over here. We’re a bunch of professionals.

I don’t want to go too far into anything else, but it’s just not going to happen over here. There is going to be a line drawn in the sand, everything is going to be A-OK, I feel very good about that.

CM Punk referenced Seth Rollins on SmackDown as a feud looks to be getting underway between the men, apparently playing off their very public dislike for one another.
