Chris Jericho Donates Towards Syko Stu’s Recovery

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho’s history of supporting other wrestlers is well-documented.

His recent act of kindness is related to Raja Jackson’s attack on Syko Stu, which has dominated the headlines over the last couple of days.

In a video that gained immediate traction on social media shows Jackson lifting and slamming Stu on the mat before launching a barrage of punches to his face.

Initial reports claim that Stu lost consciousness as soon as he hit the mat.

What was scheduled to be a planned confrontation took a dark turn after Jackson was worked up by a few attendees in the crowd. Meanwhile, a wrestler has been accused of manipulating Jackson to give Stu “a receipt” for an earlier attack.

Syko Stu, who is a U.S. Army veteran, was hospitalized after the incident and subsequently, a GoFundMe campaign was set up to support him.

Former WWE and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho reportedly contributed $2,500 towards the campaign.

The GoFundMe has received over $100,000 in donations.

Many former wrestlers have lashed out at Raja Jackson’s cowardly attack, with some even labeling it as a premeditated murder attempt.

Chris Jericho’s WWE Return Rumors Refuse To Die

The internet has been abuzz ever since Chris Jericho liked a social media post about a potential return to WWE.

The 54-year-old is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling, but has not appeared for a taping since April 9, 2025.

In June, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer said that AEW creative had nothing for Chris Jericho.

While that might have excited WWE fans, Fightful Select recently reported that Jericho has not been discussed by WWE’s creative team.

Former WWE World Tag Team Champion chimed in on the conversation too, claiming he would like to see the Canadian superstar back in the Stamford promotion and feud with LA Knight.
