Charlotte Flair Gets Candid About Teaming With Alexa Bliss: “I Like Solo”
Charlotte Flair does not like teaming up with other WWE wrestlers.
Except Alexa Bliss, that is.
This revelation came to light recently when The Queen got candid about her newfound alliance with once rival Alexa Bliss, with whom she shares the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The duo won the belts from The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez at SummerSlam.
Charlotte Flair last wrestled during the August 22 episode of SmackDown, wherein she suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Piper Niven of The Secret Hervice.
The 39-year-old has been on the sidelines due to an injury she suffered after the Chelsea Green-led faction attacked her and Alexa Bliss on the August 29 SmackDown taping.
She was recently spotted attending the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas.
Charlotte Flair will return to action with Alexa Bliss at NXT Homecoming on September 16, wherein they will defend their tag team titles against The Culling duo of Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley.
Charlotte Flair Reflects On Her Team-Up With Alexa Bliss
Charlotte Flair was a part of the latest Nightcap podcast, wherein she was asked about her latest title run and camaraderie with Alexa Bliss.
Flair clarified that she preferred solo stints, but did not mind being paired with Bliss.
Personally, I like solo. I don’t like sharing the spotlight, but I am in a tag team with the one person I don’t mind sharing the spotlight with, and that’s Alexa Bliss. And I’m having so much fun. She’s great. She brings out definitely a different side of my character for TV, so it’s great. [H/T: Sportskeeda]
Flair returned to the Stamford promotion at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble after being away for a year due to a knee injury.
During the podcast, she also discussed about her plans to step away from wrestling.
