Becky Lynch Says Her Shoulder “Still Isn’t Feeling Right”
Becky Lynch has commented on her return to a WWE ring at Survivor Series but admits that her shoulder still isn’t feeling one hundred percent.
Becky Lynch was forced to take some time away from WWE following her Raw Women’s Title match at SummerSlam after she suffered a separated shoulder in her match with Bianca Belair.
The Man made a triumphant return to WWE on the SmackDown before Survivor Series where she joined Belair’s team alongside Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Mia Yim. Becky Lynch proved decisive for her team as she picked up the pinfall and the win inside the WarGames cage.
Now speaking to The Verge, Lynch has discussed her return and admits she was nervous given that her shoulder still isn’t feeling back to its best:
“It felt amazing to be out in front of the crowd again and how electric that was, in such a wild capacity as WarGames. That’s a match that I’ve never done before and it’s a very daunting match. You’ve got two rings, you’ve got a giant cage and anything goes. Truth be told, my shoulder still isn’t feeling right. So to say I was nervous is probably a bit of an understatement. But once you get out there, once you get in front of the crowd and you feel that energy, then you forget everything else. There’s not another feeling like it.”
Lynch was unsuccessful as she tried to become the number one contender to the Raw Women’s Championship on the 5th of December edition of Raw, losing out in a Triple Threat match, that also featured Nikki Cross, to Alexa Bliss.
