Bayley Responds To “Idiot” Fans Calling For Return After Injury

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley has hit out at wrestling fans, calling them “idiots” for pushing her to return from injury.

Since tearing her ACL during preparations to face Bianca Belair at Money In The Bank 2021, ‘The Role Model’ has been out of action for longer than the nine months which was originally anticipated for her return to the ring.

Some speculated that she would be the former title holder returning on the 9th April edition of Monday Night Raw, however it turned out to be Alexa Bliss who came back to the red brand.

With fans still calling for her return, Bayley took to Twitter to let fans know that she still needs to recover, and in true ‘Role Model’ fashion called them idiots in the process.

Bayley’s last appearance came on SmackDown on 2nd July 2021, when she issued the challenge to Belair for the contest which would end up not happening due to the injury. The challenge came about after Bayley lost to ‘The EST’ at Hell In A Cell the month before.

Coming up to a decade working for WWE, the Four Horsewomen member has risen the top of the game as one of the most prominent females on the wrestling scene at present. Having joined the company in December 2012, she currently has six title reigns to her name, including holding the NXT, SmackDown, Raw and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
