Asuka Dismisses Criticism From WWE Hall Of Famer

Asuka WWE

Asuka remains unbothered by the recent comments directed at her by a WWE Hall of Famer.

While speaking on Real Talk with Mike Burke, Goldberg took a dig at the Stamford promotion for trying to stain the achievements of former WCW wrestlers, including his own undefeated streak of 173 matches.

When the host said that the record would never be broken, the 58-year-old retired wrestler reminded him that WWE had already broken it by bestowing it upon “some girl,” referring to Asuka.

They already did. Some girl at WWE. They did it on purpose. I have nothing against the girl, by any means, but yeah. The whole WWE experience…I was part of WCW when we were kicking their ass in the Monday Night Wars.

I didn’t know what was going on at the time, I was just on one of the sides. Now, one side dissolves and the other one consumes everything, so they can treat everyone and everything the way they want. I think there is always going to be the bird in their ass that I was part of a company where I was the champion in a very short period of time and we were beating them in the ratings.

As for the former women’s champion, she was undefeated for 914 days before losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

The 4-time WWE Women’s World Champion took to X to share her thoughts with her followers.
