On the pre-show for Double Or Nothing 2024, Tony Khan appeared with Dr Martha Hart to reveal that this year, and for the first time ever, the male and female winners of the tournaments will receive AEW World Title shots at AEW All In on August 25th in Wembley Stadium.

Bryan Danielson was the first star to announce his entry into the men’s tournament as he looks to win AEW’s biggest prize during his last full-time year as a member of the roster. And now the tournaments are set to begin.

Now on Dynamite in Fairfax, Virginia, the tournaments got underway with Kris Statlander defeating Nyla Rose while PAC eliminated Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli.

The other side of the bracket features Rey Fenix taking on Jay White and fittingly, Owen Hart’s former tag team partner Jeff Jarrett will be part of the tournament where he will take on a wild card who is yet to be named.

The finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will take place in Hart’s hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 10th.
