After signing a contract with the Stamford-based company in 2001, he officially debuted in 2002, revealing himself as Kurt Angle’s surprise opponent.

While the promotion hopes to send off the future Hall of Famer in grand fashion, it also has the responsibility of filling the hole that he leaves behind.

Former United States Champion R-Truth recently gave an interview to Bleacher Report, wherein he named 3 stars who could be the perfect replacements for the wrestling great.

Man, there’s a lot of guys. NXT is full of talent, man. Trick [Williams] is there, Carmelo [Hayes] is up here now, they got Je’Von [Evans], there’s so much talent there, man. [H/T: Bleacher Report]
