John Cena Beats AJ Styles In Epic Battle At WWE Crown Jewel

AJ Styles vs. John Cena is a dream match for the WWE Universe, and they were ecstatic to finally witness it at Crown Jewel.

The Phenomenal One entered the ring first, followed by John Cena. His babyface entrance pushed the fans to cheer as loud as possible, and chanted “Thank you, Cena!”

This was The Champ’s last match overseas in his Farewell Tour. His final match is scheduled for December 13th, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The babyfaces locked hands as soon as the bell rang. Styles had Cena in a headlock, but John Cena moved out of it by bouncing Styles off the ropes.

Cena took control next and had Styles in a headlock. The Phenomenal One bounced Cena off the ropes to come out of it and connected a double leg drop kick to Cena. The Phenomenal One overpowered Styles with some hits and tried to pin Cena, but failed. He pushed Cena to the turnbuckles and took out The Last Real Champion once again, and attempted a second pin, but failed.

AJ Styles ran the same move a third time, but failed to secure the pinfall victory once again.

Following this, John Cena hit AJ Styles with a Clothesline and two shoulder taps. He regained massive control over the match by slamming Styles on the ring floor. The Phenomenal One quickly recovered, but Cena kept control over the match, smashed him on the floor once again, and hit him with a Five Knuckle Shuffle and an Attitude Adjustment.

John Cena attempted a pinfall after that, but Styles kicked out.

The Phenomenal One attempted a Styles Clash, but Cena countered the move and hit Styles with a Skull Crushing Finale. The stalwarts proceeded to climb the ropes, and then Styles hit Cena with a back-breaking UFO slam.

Styles hit Cena with a Clotheslines and a Scorpion Deathdrop, and then tried to pin The Last Real Champion. John Cena kicked out. Next, Styles tried to put Cena away with a Styles Clash, but Cena countered it with an STF Lock. Just when fans expected Styles to tap out, The Phenomenal One turned things around, but not for long.

A Camel Clutch, but Styles broke out of it and held Cena in a lock. However, The Champ managed to break out and hit Cena with a Walls of Jericho.

After some back and forth, Styles hit Cena with a Styles Clash and attempted to pin Cena once again. John Cena again kicked out.

Next, Cena caught Styles as he jumped off the rope and hit him with a Sister Abigail as a tribute to the Late Bray Wyatt. At this point, the fireflies were out in the arena.

Styles hit Cena with an Angels Wing and attempted another pin, but Cena broke out of it again.

The two were barely able to stand towards the concluding moments of the match.

John Cena pulled out another move to pay homage. This time, he hit AJ Styles with Randy Orton’s Vintage Orton and RKO. He tried to pin Styles after that, but The Phenomenal One kicked out.

Next homage was to The Undertaker when Cena hit Styles with a Chokeslam.

Cena attempted a 619 on John Cena, but Styles stopped it. Styles tried another pin attempt after Superkicking Cena to the face, but the 17-time World Champion kicked out of it once again.

AJ Styles hit Cena with a Phenomenal Arm and tried pinning Cena again. The Champ kicked out, again. Cena hit Styles with an Attitude Adjustment and tried to pin Styles, but this time, Styles kicked out.

The Last Real Champion placed Styles on the top rope and picked up Styles on his shoulders, but Styles pulled himself out of it. Styles jumped towards Cena, but The Champ caught him and hit with a Tomb Stone Piledriver and an Attitude Adjustment.
