Triple H Makes Major John Cena WWE Announcement

John Cena

WWE has confirmed John Cena’s final match.

The Leader of the Cenation embarked on his retirement tour last January. The 17-time world champion is set to hang up his boots by the end of this year.

A few minutes ago, WWE announced that Cena’s final match will headline Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H then took to X to encourage fans to book their tickets for the historic show while confirming the announcement.

The last time really is now. @JohnCena’s final match is set for #SNME in Washington, D.C. on December 13. Get your tickets on Oct. 17 because after this…you can’t see him.

John Cena Will Face AJ Styles At WWE Crown Jewel

After suffering an embarrassing defeat against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza earlier this month, John Cena is now set to go head-to-head against another former rival, AJ Styles, at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia. The Never Seen 17 took to X to request that Triple H and The Phenomenal One listen to the fans and make the match official, which they eventually did.

While Cena has no scheduled appearances until Crown Jewel, Styles addressed their match on RAW last night. He thanked the fans for making it happen and claimed he would get to do what he loves, which is beat up the 17-time world champion.

I got a match, too, at Crown Jewel. Well, thanks to you guys [the fans], I have a match at Crown Jewel against John Cena. So, I wanna take a moment to say thank you, I get to do something that I love. I get to beat up John Cena.
