It was announced on WWE Backstage tonight that Killer Kross has signed with WWE. The announcement was made by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet during his “Satin Sheet” segment on the show. During the segment on WWE Backstage, it was noted that Kross’ deal came together in recent weeks amidst interest from every major promotion.

Regarding Kross’ WWE debut, PWInsider has noted that Kross has come to terms with WWE on a WWE NXT deal, so he’s expected to start on NXT soon. Kross has been in Orlando for several weeks and his girlfriend Scarlett Bordeaux already signed with WWE, so they could make their TV debuts soon. Kross worked for MLW over the weekend, but he’ll only be on WWE NXT now.

It was also revealed that veteran indy wrestler Timothy Thatcher has signed with WWE as well.

Here’s more from WWE.com on both men.

The newest recruits to report to the WWE Performance Center include two highly touted in-ring competitors.

Timothy Thatcher is a world-renowned mat wrestler widely regarded as one of the toughest grapplers inside the squared circle, and has competed against the likes of Drew McIntyre, NXT North American Champion Keith Lee and Matt Riddle, among others. Thatcher is a former EVOLVE Champion and WXW Unified World Champion. He’s also been a frequent tag team partner of NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER.

Kevin Kesar, better known as Killer Kross, is a towering competitor at 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, and has a background in catch wrestling and sambo. Kesar has competed in India and Mexico, and was recognized as a rising star of the squared circle by the revered Cauliflower Alley Club in 2018.

TJR Thoughts: Congrats to both guys. I have seen a lot of Kross and I am impressed by him. I think he can be a huge star in WWE whether he’s with Scarlett on TV or a solo act. I know less about Thatcher, but he’s very skilled at technical wrestling and he should fit in well.
