Tickets are officially on sale for WrestleMania 40, and early sales are off the charts.

Though it’s still months away, fans are looking ahead to WrestleMania 40. In July of 2022, it was reported that the blockbuster event was set to take place in Philadelphia, PA, marking the first time the city will host WrestleMania since 1999.

The logo features an image of the famed Liberty Bell and to the delight of many fans sees the return of Roman numerals to the logo. The numerals had previously been used on almost all of the previous show logos but this was stopped after WrestleMania 30 in 2014.

Presales for the event took place on August 16th and 17th with tickets going on sale to the general public today via Ticketmaster.

How Many Tickets Are Sold For WrestleMania 40?

According to a new report from Darren Rovell, the show is already a massive success, with over 90,000 tickets being sold across both nights.

“JUST IN: WrestleMania 40 went on sale today and has already broken @wwe’s all-time gate record ($21.5M at WrestleMania 39 in LA). More than 90,000 tickets sold so far to the two-day event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia in April 2024.”

Speculation has already begun about what matches might take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All. WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg has made it clear that he’d like to see a rematch between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, something that is reportedly being considered by WWE at this stage in the game. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair has addressed the possibility of facing a returning Mercedes Mone.
