A WWE Hall of Famer with plenty of pull in the company is already cooking up ideas for WrestleMania XL next April.

For the fifth straight year, WrestleMania will be a two-night show that will emanate from a massive stadium. The next edition of the show will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

And while no matches have been confirmed as of yet, a few people have already started fantasy booking and proposing ideas for WWE’s flagship show, including “Road Dogg” Brian James.

Road Dogg wants Roman Reigns versus Cody Rhodes II at WWE WrestleMania XL

Speaking on his Oh You Didn’t Know podcast, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events Road Dogg was asked what he would book for WrestleMania if he were in charge of putting matches together.

Without missing a beat, he proposed Reigns vs. Rhodes II.

“I’m gonna say Cody vs. Roman 2. I don’t know what else you go with, unless something else really blows up quick, you know what I mean? ‘Cause this thing’s hotter than fire right now, man. And it just feels so good, it feels so right.

And people were so mad that he didn’t get it the first time, and that ‘He’s got to finish the story …’ This dude has caught on as a real babyface, and a real-life babyface, not a character. You know what I mean? He’s done something that very few have done and he continues to do it. So that’s my pick.”

Cody’s loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 was a major talking point among wrestling fans for weeks afterwards, and after Cody got attacked by Brock Lesnar the following night many began wondering if Cody was going to be misused in WWE.

However, Cody appears to be turning things around after finally beating Brock Lesnar decisively at SummerSlam.
