WWE Teases Split Of 4-Time Tag Champions On SmackDown
WWE has been planting the seeds for a 4-time Tag Team Champions’ split.
Over the last few weeks, cracks have appeared in the friendship between Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, possibly due to their high expectations, yet failure to win the tag team titles from The Wyatt Sicks.
The duo was part of the 6-team TLC match at SummerSlam. The bout was highly acclaimed, although The Wyatt Sicks retained their belts, adding to the frustrations of the other five teams.
While the likes of Motor City Machine Guns and #DIY have managed to put the loss behind, Ford and Dawkins have been seemingly at each other’s throats.
The Street Profits also lost their match against the Sicks at WWE Clash in Paris.
During an exclusive backstage segment on the September 5 SmackDown taping, both men gave each other the eye, leaving B-Fab frustrated.
Bo Dallas Addresses The Street Profits On WWE SmackDown
Uncle Howdy of The Wyatt Sicks, appearing as Bo Dallas, was featured in a backstage segment on the September 12 SmackDown episode.
He addressed the former WWE Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits, saying they were tested in Paris and failed.
Eric Rowan, who was with Dallas, pitied their current state and claimed they did not appreciate what they had, which is their ‘brotherhood.’
Rowan further stated that the duo had a tough choice ahead of them, giving them the option of amputating and saving themselves before the disease consumed them.
Dallas further questioned their future as a tag team before ending the segment.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are two of the most over wrestlers among the audiences. They were briefly transitioned into heels, but it did not work, forcing WWE to revert them into their babyface role.
Elsewhere, The Wyatt Sicks made their presence felt in AAA Worlds Collide.
