WWE Star Wants The Rock vs. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has long been The Tribal Chief in WWE but that title and the gold around his waist could be under threat from The Rock.
The Rock surprised everyone when he appeared on the first WWE Raw of 2024 and got tongues wagging when he dropped a line suggesting it was possibly time for him to sit at the head of the table.
The Rock has since doubled down on that threat and with the Royal Rumble just around the corner, many fans are wondering just who will take on Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in Philadelphia. However, Jey Uso knows exactly what match he’d like to see.
Jey Uso Wants The Rock vs. Roman Reigns In WWE
Speaking on Sony Sports Network, Jey Uso said he thinks the world is ready to see The Rock and Roman Reigns finally go one-on-one but warns it’d be a tough night at the office for The People’s Champ:
My reaction to the Rock wanting to be the Head of the Table? Money. That’s one match I think we all wanna watch. Myself, as a fan, I want to watch too. I just don’t think The Rock knows what he’s getting into when it comes to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. He’s got The Bloodline behind him. Rock has a big uphill battle man. But yeah, we ready to see that.
If The Rock and Roman Reigns do face each other, that match would likely come at WrestleMania 40. It remains to be seen if Cody Rhodes – the man who brought Jey Uso to Monday Night Raw and held tag team gold with the star – would be as enthralled at the prospect given what that might mean for his own chances of finishing his story on the grandest stage of them all.
