One WWE star is finally back in the ring after undergoing gruelling surgery that saw them put on the shelf for seven months.

WWE NXT has seen its fair share of injury issues over the last few years. Wendy Choo spent a year out of action due to injury before returning in May 2024 while Sol Ruca spent 10 months on the shelf before battling back to full fitness in 2024.

Nikkita Lyons missed virtually all of 2023 due to injury but was put back on the injured list again in January 2024 following a match with Blair Davenport.

Among all of that Dani Palmer has been missing since she was part of a battle royal on a WWE NXT live event in January 2024. Following that Palmer was forced to undergo double hip surgery that saw her miss months from the ring.

WWE Star Back In The Ring

PWInsider has now reported that Dani Palmer returned to action at the NXT Level Up tapings held on August 13th where she faced Jazmyn Nyx in a singles bout.

The 20th of August edition of NXT will be a big one for the brand’s women’s division as six WWE stars will face off in an eliminator match to determine the number one contender for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at No Mercy. Wren Sinclair, Sol Ruca, Karmen Petrovic, Jaida Parker, Adriana Rizzo, and Kendal Grey will all be part of that match.
