A one-time WWE free agent has been moved to SmackDown.

Following the 2023 WWE Draft, a handful of stars were left as free agents, free to float between brands when required. In recent weeks this has seen Cedric Alexander land on Raw for a match against Bronson Reed before heading to SmackDown for two matches against Dragon Lee.

Following these two matches with Lee, Alexander has quietly been moved to SmackDown and is currently listed as a member of the blue brand on WWE.com.

Prior to becoming a free agent, Alexander had been a member of the Raw brand, enjoying his most successful run alongside Shelton Benjamin as part of the Hurt Business in 2020 and 2021.

Who Are WWE’s Other Free Agents?

CM Punk is currently the most high-profile free agent in WWE after returning to the company at Survivor Series. The star appeared on the following episode of Raw but has not officially been assigned to the brand.

Randy Orton also returned to action at Survivor Series after missing 18 months of action and remains unassigned to a brand. Orton wrestled on the November 27th episode of Raw and is advertised to appear on the December 1st edition of SmackDown.

Other free agents include the United States Champion Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar, and the likes of Omos, Von Wagner, and Xyon Quinn.
