WWE Star Competes In First TV Match In Over A Year

WWE Logo over Roster

NXT Level Up which aired on the WWE Network on Friday, the 7th of April was notable for seeing the return of Boa to screens after more than a year out of action.

Boa’s time in NXT is most notable for his spell in the mysterious Tian Sha duo with Xia Li but that partnership deteriorated with the advent of NXT 2.0 and Li’s graduation to the WWE main roster. At the beginning of 2022, the Chinese star found himself where many stars don’t want to be as he engaged in a feud with Solo Sikoa.

That feud was settled in a Falls Count Anywhere match that saw Sikoa splash Boa through a table to pick up the win and ever since Boa has not been seen on NXT TV. Meanwhile, Sikoa has been making a menace of himself on WWE’s main roster as Roman Reigns’ enforcer in The Bloodline.

That all changed on the 7th of April edition of Level Up when he competed against Dante Chen in a losing effort. Also on the show Sol Ruca – fresh off her WrestleMania appearance as the Cinnamoji during Dominik and Rey Mysterio’s match – teamed with Dani Palmer to defeat Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. Joe Gacy was accompanied to the ring by The Schism – including Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler despite recent release reports – as he defeated Oro Mensah.
