WWE Star Spotted At AEW Dynamite For Mercedes Mone’s Debut

Mercedes Mone AEW

At least one WWE star was pictured in attendance at AEW Dynamite in Boston as Mercedes Mone made her debut for Tony Khan’s company.

Mercedes Mone debuted for AEW on Dynamite in Boston to a rapturous reception from her hometown crowd. The former Sasha Banks was widely expected to appear on the show – dubbed Big Business – but had not been officially announced, in the same way AEW debuted CM Punk for his ill-fated spell in the company in 2021.

Mone stood tall at the end of the night as well as she came to the aid of Willow Nightingale after Nightingale had defeated Riho in the show’s main event. Nightingale was attacked by TBS Champion Julia Hart and Skye Blue but The CEO came to the rescue, taking out the spooky pair.

Mercedes Mone Had WWE Friends Cheering Her On

It seems Mone had support from at least one old friend at the show as current WWE star Bayley was pictured in a skybox at the show in a snap that has done the rounds on social media.

Bayley may not have been the only WWE star in attendance as Naomi had earlier shared a video of herself, Bayley, and Tamina trying out disguises as an allusion to all of them being there to see Mone’s debut.

The news might come as a surprise to Kevin Nash who has explained in several different ways that the reason he didn’t attend Sting’s retirement match was because he was a “WWE guy.”

Lex Luger – who is currently signed to a WWE Legends deal but did decide Sting was worth the trip to Greensboro – explained that WWE had set out one specific condition about him attending AEW Revolution.
