WWE Replaces Major Champion Ahead Of Upcoming SuperShows
WWE recently confirmed Japan SuperShows as part of its upcoming tour.
The two-night event will be held on October 17 &18 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, with CM Punk headlining both nights.
Punk will challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Night 1, and team up with Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura to face The Vision on Night 2.
Earlier, women’s United States Champion Giulia was scheduled to defend her title against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match on Night 1.
However, the promotion has now changed the match ahead of the event.
Instead of The Beautiful Madness, it will be Stephanie Vaquer facing Sky and Ripley, and it may be for the Women’s World Championship.
While La Primera had been advertised for the show, she did not feature on the card until now. Further, the reason behind the change remains unclear, and it is unknown whether Giulia will appear on either show in any capacity.
Here’s how the updated card looks:

Giulia Will Compete On SmackDown Before WWE Crown Jewel
The October 10 episode of SmackDown will come from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, the same location that will host the subsequent Crown Jewel PLE and WWE RAW.
On the October 3 taping of the blue brand, Giulia and Kianna James interrupted Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton after their contract signing segment by attacking the latter.
However, both champions thwarted away James and Giulia before more damage could be inflicted by the heels.
It was later announced that Vaquer and Stratton would team up to face Giulia and James in a tag team match.
