Stephanie Vaquer Gets New Tattoo After Winning WWE Women’s World Championship
Stephanie Vaquer won the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship by defeating IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025. The title was declared vacant after Naomi, on RAW in August, relinquished it due to her pregnancy.
The match was highly competitive, but Stephanie Vaquer secured the win after countering SKY’s Over the Moonsault and landing a spiral moonsault from the top rope for the pinfall. This victory marked her first main roster championship in WWE.
Following her title win, Stephanie Vaquer revealed a new tattoo after the October 1, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW. The new ink is placed on the back of her neck. She showcased the tattoo via Instagram Stories.

Stephanie Vaquer Almost Missed Wrestlepalooza
Stephanie Vaquer missed the September 8, 2025, episode of RAW, where she was supposed to participate in a contract signing with IYO SKY, because she had been suffering from an illness for the two weeks leading up to Wrestlepalooza.
In an interview with WWE’s Spanish-speaking YouTube channel, Vaquer revealed that on the Sunday before Wrestlepalooza, WWE’s medical team advised her not to attend Raw due to her condition. They warned that if she could not make Raw, she might also be pulled from Wrestlepalooza.
Determined to compete, Stephanie Vaquer met with doctors on Monday morning and, fortunately, received clearance to wrestle by noon. She immediately traveled for Raw and was only officially added back to the premium live event lineup hours before Wrestlepalooza, making her appearance extremely last-minute.
“What happened was, unfortunately, I had not been feeling well for the past two weeks. I was sick, so I did not feel good physically, and on Sunday, the medical team told me not to participate on Raw on Monday.
They spoke with the executives, and I was removed from Raw. They also told me that if I could not make it to Raw, I would no longer be part of Wrestlepalooza, which I completely understood, but I still felt healthy enough to wrestle, so I did everything possible.
On Monday Morning, I went to the doctor, and by noon, I was cleared to compete. Around 12 pm and 2 pm, I was already at the airport to head to Raw. Everything was very last-minute, and they were even preparing to announce that I was not cleared for Wrestlepalooza on Saturday.
They ran every kind of test on me, and thankfully, I am cleared to compete. Maybe I am not in my absolute best condition after being sick for almost three weeks, but I have the clearance to compete. Everything happens for a reason, and everything worked out perfectly so I could compete for the title at Wrestlepalooza, but it was very difficult to recover my body in 5 days.
Sometimes, you don’t always wrestle with your body, but with your heart, and I have that very present. My body may not be at 100% but my heart always is at 100%”
It is hard to fully heal in just five days, but you do not always wrestle with your body; you wrestle with your heart. While my body might not be one hundred percent, my heart is always one hundred percent.”
