WWE Releases NXT Star
A veteran performer on the WWE NXT brand announced that they have been released.
Mckenzie Mitchell has been an NXT backstage interviewer for several years going back to when she was first hired by WWE in 2019.
On Twitter/X, Mitchell announced she had been released by NXT.

When Mitchell was hired by WWE, she came over as an experienced interviewer since she worked for Impact/TNA from May 2016 to January 2019.
In addition to working for the NXT brand, Mitchell has also worked on WWE’s The Bump as well as doing digital media updates for the company.
Mitchell’s last WWE appearance was on the November 28th edition of WWE NXT where she appeared in several backstage interview segments.
Mckenzie Mitchell Is Married To WWE NXT’s Vic Joseph
The message from Mckenzie Mitchell mentions that she met her husband in NXT. She was referring to NXT’s lead announcer Vic Joseph. The couple has been married since October 2022.
Vic Joseph has worked for WWE since May 2017. He has been the lead announcer on the Raw brand during his career. In August 2020, Vic was moved to NXT and has been the lead announcer on the company’s third brand ever since.
