WWE Plans Involving Jey Uso Storyline Moving Forward

Following a chaotic ending to WWE Smackdown, a new update has provided some insight into what’s next for Jey Uso’s involvement in The Bloodline storyline.

In the main event of WWE Smackdown from Calgary, Jimmy Uso explained to Roman Reigns that he didn’t help Roman beat Jey Uso at SummerSlam because Jimmy wanted to acknowledge Reigns again. Jimmy made it clear he did it for his twin brother Jey.

When Jey showed up for the segment, he wanted Jimmy to explain himself. That led to Jimmy saying that if Jey beat Reigns at SummerSlam then Jey would inherit some kind of power that makes you like him (Reigns). Jimmy said that makes you corrupted. Jimmy said he would never be able to live if he let Jey become an evil, manipulative a**hole like Roman Reigns.

Jimmy said he was fine if Jey hates him after what happened, but Jimmy said he did it because he did it because he loved Jey.

That led to a chaotic scene where Jey Uso fought off both his cousin Roman Reigns and his brother Solo Sikoa. When Jimmy thought Jey would hug him, Jey hit Jimmy with a superkick too.

After that, Jey Uso looked into the camera and said: “I’m out. I’m out The Bloodline. I’m out of SmackDown. I’m out of WWE!”

What’s Next For Jimmy Uso And The Bloodline?

It has been reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson that The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) and their brother Solo Sikoa will not be at next week’s Smackdown (August 18th) in Toronto. Roman Reigns was also not slated to be there next week. Unless there was some sort of pre-tape segment involving The Bloodline, they won’t be on next week’s show.

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi accidentally shared a graphic about an upcoming appearance, and in doing so, Rikishi revealed that WWE might be using him as a referee for a match Payback. The Payback PLE is on September 2nd. It’s unknown what members of The Bloodline might be wrestling on that show. Roman Reigns is not advertised for it.
