The WWE Office Routine Of Vince McMahon Is Different Than What It Used To Be
Vince McMahon is back in WWE offices, but the time he spends there is a lot less compared to what it used to be.
When Vince McMahon was running WWE from the early 1980s prior to his summer 2022 “retirement” which really didn’t last that long, he spend a lot of hours working out the company’s headquarters in Stamford, CT that sometimes are referred to as Titan Towers.
After he retired last summer due to numerous hush money payments that came from multiple affairs that he had with different women over the last 20 years, Vince completely left the company. It led to Paul “Triple H” Levesque taking over the WWE creative team as well.
At the start of 2023, Vince came back to WWE as the Executive Chairman while his daughter Stephanie McMahon resigned as the Chairwoman soon after.
According to Vince’s own words, he is back in WWE to try to come up with the best move for the company in terms of their next move whether it’s selling the company ahead of their media rights deal expiring in October 2024, taking the company private with a new owner or not selling the company at all.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote about how things have changed for Vince in 2023 at WWE offices compared to what he was like in the past.
“As for Vince McMahon, there is a difference in him at the office between the Vince of before and this Vince. He is generally working on the sale, and hasn’t been to any television shoots yet nor at any creative meetings.”
“It was noted to us that the Vince who was at the office all night and sometimes into the early morning is not the case at this point as he leaves work now at a normal time since his duties are lessened, most notably the long creative meetings. But even on nights without long creative meetings the old Vince would be in the office until late at night.”
It’s also worth noting Vince has not been backstage at a WWE show since leaving the company last summer and was not at the 30th anniversary of Raw this past Monday either.
