WWE Offers Contract To Major International Star

WWE Logo over Roster

WWE is looking to add another name to its already stacked roster.

Back in September, it was announced that Jade Cargill had signed with WWE, and at Crown Jewel, Kairi Sane made her return to the company. NXT has also become the home of Brian Pillman Jr, who had been working for AEW.

While the sports entertainment giant already has an incredibly strong roster, it seems their recruitment drive is set to continue.

On November 6th it was reported that the company is interested in doing a deal with Stardom favourite Giulia. The star is known as one of the best female wrestlers on the planet and has been the subject of interest from the promotion since 2019.

The report even suggested that Giulia is expected at the Performance Center soon, although it seems that might not be the case.

Reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said he’d heard conflicting stories about the rumoured trip to the United States.

“I’ve heard mixed reports on coming to the Performance Center but those in WWE denied that to us and those in Japan did not believe that was possible. They said for her to do that Bushiroad would likely have to give their okay.”

Giulia is said to be under contract until March 2024, but WWE is determined to land the star when she becomes a free agent. In fact, Meltzer claims the company already has an offer on the table.

“She would theoretically have multiple options in Japan and the U.S., including Bushiroad, AEW, WWE or somebody else in Japan. She had made verbal commitments in Japan as well past the date of her contract expiring but we are told WWE made her an offer and she had not decided what to do. She is very close to Rossy Ogawa.”

WWE Interest In Sareee Overblown

On November 6th it was reported that Sareee had signed with Sukeban, just days after it was reported that WWE held an interest in bringing her back. The star, known as Sarray while with the company was only released in March 2023.

However, reports of WWE’s interest in the star were said to be overblown.
