WWE Legend Retires After Completing Final Goal
A decorated WWE legend has confirmed their retirement from wrestling.
D-Von Dudley had his final match at TNA Bound for Glory, where he teamed up with Bully Ray to challenge their long-standing rivals, The Hardys.
Their Tables Match witnessed intense back-and-forth action, but it was Matt and Jeff Hardy who came out victorious.
After the bout, the Dudleys handed their opponents their boots, signaling the end of their wrestling careers. The four men then embraced to cap off the emotional segment.
All four competitors recently appeared on Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast, where they discussed their final match.
While at it, D-Von confirmed that he was content with retiring and that their match was the perfect way to do it.
I’m happy. What a way to go out. When we left WWE, I thought it was a crappy way, the way we left and the 1000th episode, I still wasn’t satisfied. And this actually got rid of everything in the basement. Anything I had in there, I felt I needed to get out; that was it. And for me to go out on that note, there’s no need for me to come back anymore. I think this was it. This was actually it for me. [6:08 onwards]
Chris Jericho Buries AEW Amid WWE Return Speculation
Chris Jericho was all praise for the TNA event while speaking on his podcast.
It is also to be noted that the 55-year-old has not appeared on AEW since April 2025. Amid speculations of his WWE return, Jericho seemingly buried AEW with a specific comment.
That crowd looked huge. It looked huge. It was like a WWE-level crowd. The place was packed. I was watching this, not saying anything out of school here, but comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Candela taping, sorry, it did.
TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world. That was amazing. The presentation was amazing. It looked like a WrestleMania, it really did.
