WWE Legend Accidentally Reveals Participation In John Cena’s Tournament

John Cena’s ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament kicked off on the November 10th, 2025 edition of WWE RAW.

The first two matches were Sheamus vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest vs. Rusev.

Rusev and Sheamus have moved on to the next round. The next two matches are Jey Uso vs. The Miz and LA Knight vs. a mystery opponent on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

R-Truth might be in John Cena’s tournament

The bracket is still forming. 16 superstars will enter the tournament, and so far, only seven names have been revealed.

Interestingly, R-Truth might be one of the picks on the bracket.

During an interview with TMPT, the WWE Legend was asked if he was in the tournament. He said yes, but immediately rolled back on his words and framed it differently, so he did not confirm anything.

Yes, I am dawg… I hope I get picked… and I think it’s awesome, man. I think it’s awesome for the person that’s gonna be facing him, and I think it’s awesome for him to even give that type of passing the torch off.

Despite changing his words immediately, fans did not miss the moment. R-Truth and Cody Rhodes are the only two superstars who have faced John Cena twice in his retirement tour.
