WWE Hall Of Famer Says LA Knight “Ain’t Too Old For Nothing”

LA Knight WWE SummerSlam

One WWE Hall of Famer has high praise for LA Knight.

LA Knight has taken the WWE by storm, capturing the hearts of fans and making waves with impressive merchandise sales. Despite his two decades in the wrestling business, Knight’s recent rise to popularity has been a relatively fast one, and many fans wonder if the 40 year old star has a World Championship run in his WWE future.

Speaking in a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page praised Knight’s work, saying the star’s age shouldn’t be a detriment to making him a main event presence in sports entertainment. In fact, Page revealed that he spoke with LA Knight personally to tell him he’s a fan of his work.

“That guy, he ain’t too old for nothing. He is at the right time at the right place and I pray for him that they see it, because he deserves it. I remember walking up to him, I wanna say it was Mania this year, and I said, ‘Dude, I just want you to know, I personally love what you’re doing and watching you from NXT coming up.’”

“Just Give Them That Little Push” – DDP On LA Knight And Sami Zayn

DDP continued, saying that he also spoke with Sami Zayn about admiring his work. In Diamond Dallas Page’s opinion, both Knight and Zayn will deliver when given the opportunity.

“[He has worked] with Bronson, who’s one of my boys, he’s worked out in that gym with me 50 times. I was like, ‘I love what you’re doing’ and I said the same thing to Sami, that it’s your time dude, these people are gonna get with you, it’s gonna get bigger and bigger and it did. Both of those guys are top guys to me, but they aren’t top of the top. Just give them that little push and they both will deliver.”

Though he has yet to win gold on WWE’s main roster, LA Knight scored a huge victory at SummerSlam when he won the Slim Jim Battle Royal.
