WWE Hall Of Famer Slams AEW Stars For “Reckless” Style

The stars of AEW go above and beyond in the ring to put on the best in-ring action for their fans but one WWE Hall of Famer thinks some of them are pushing things too far.

The recent Double Or Nothing show was a showcase of the company’s stars and their varying styles going all out in Las Vegas. Lucha stars such as Kommander shone in the battle royal, sports entertainment chicanery was brought to the fore by Jeff Jarrett and his motley crew in the tag team title match, while Anarchy In The Arena saw absolute mayhem, brutality, and blood take hold.

The AEW World Championship match however saw MJF have to contend with the high-flying and death-defying styles of three opponents in Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy Jack Perry, and Darby Allin.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast Kevin Nash commented on a style used by various AEW stars that he is not a fan of:

“And that also increases the chance of f***ing — because their style is so, I’ll just use the term reckless.”

Singling out Sammy Guevara specifically, Nash questioned how many times he can keep doing his death-defying moves before something goes wrong:

“How many times can he do a 55 Gainer and hit a guy perfectly going through a table or a ladder before he f***ing misses?”

All of Sammy Guevara’s high-flying arsenal couldn’t help him claim the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing with MJF claiming the win – with a little help from his Triple B – to retain his title.

It was not all bad news for Guevara however as during his entrance in Las Vegas, he was accompanied by his wife Tay Melo and they revealed to the world that they are expecting their first child.
