WWE Didn’t Expect Liv Morgan Back So Quickly

Liv Morgan WWE

Liv Morgan pushed hard to make her WWE return.

At Survivor Series, Dominik Mysterio beat John Cena to regain the Intercontinental Championship, but there were more than a few twists and turns along the way.

During the match, Liv Morgan made her shock return to slap Mysterio. However, after hugging Cena, she hit him with a low blow to reunite with Dirty Dom.

Morgan then hit Cena with the title belt, allowing Mysterio to follow up with a 619 and Frog Splash to grab the win.

Morgan had been out of action since suffering a serious shoulder injury on the June 16 episode of Raw. During a match with Kairi Sane, Morgan landed awkwardly while taking a routine bump and later underwent surgery.

Liv Morgan Raced Back To WWE

During an interview with Going Ringside, Raquel Rodriguez tipped her hat to Morgan while confirming that she returned to television quicker than expected.

“You know, if I know Liv (Morgan) as good as I think I know Liv, I’m actually not surprised (she’s back already) because that girl is hungry.

She’s hungry for success, she is hungry for a championship, she is hungry just to be better and be the best that she can be and so, as also a fellow athlete, when you do get taken out for an illness or for an injury, it is so difficult to sit on the sidelines and just watch, and so I know that that hunger that built up as you’re just watching is really just eating at you to get out and so, the fact that she was able to get through rehab and get back to 100 percent and be back early, I mean, I’m very, very happy that she’s back in Judgment Day and back on Monday Night Raw and I think everybody else is too.

We’re all happy to see her.”

Although she’s returned to television, Morgan has yet to wrestle since getting injured.
